Acceptance
These terms describe the use of Cookbook4all, operated by 2018 Inc., California. By using the site or creating an account, you accept these rules. This document is a draft subject to legal review; if you disagree, do not use the service.
What Cookbook4all provides
Cookbook4all lets users save recipes, ingredients, steps, photos, menus, shopping lists, and family profiles. It also offers public editorial pages for indexable recipes. The service may change, pause features, limit usage, fix errors, or modify routes and content as it evolves.
Accounts and security
Authentication is managed through Clerk. You must keep your account secure and use truthful information when reasonably needed to operate the service. You are responsible for actions taken from your account and for inviting family members only when you have consent to share the family space.
Your content
You keep the rights you have in your recipes, photos, and other user-generated content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, technically copy, and adapt that content only as needed to operate Cookbook4all. If you choose to publish or share content, others may see it according to the chosen settings.
Public content, SEO, and social platforms
Public editorial recipes are designed to be indexed by search engines and services such as Google or Pinterest. A published editorial recipe may include schema.org, images, chef profiles, canonical links, and social metadata. Do not publish content that violates third-party rights, privacy, trademarks, copyrights, or applicable rules.
AI Chefs
AI Chefs are artificial-intelligence profiles created by the Cookbook4all team and visibly labeled. They are not real people, nutritionists, doctors, or hired human chefs. Their role is editorial and inspirational. AI-assisted content may be wrong; verify times, temperatures, allergens, and food safety before cooking.
Acceptable use
Do not use Cookbook4all for illegal activity, abuse, spam, aggressive scraping, unauthorized access attempts, malware, discriminatory content, or material you do not have the right to use. We may limit, suspend, or remove accounts and content if we believe in good faith that they violate these terms or put others at risk.
Ads, plans, and payments
We may show ads on public pages. For now, ads are hidden for signed-in sessions as a temporary rule until premium plans are defined. If we offer payments, memberships, or benefits in the future, we will publish additional conditions before charging. Founder promotions may express interest or presale without representing immediate availability of all features.
No culinary or medical warranty
Cookbook4all is provided “as is.” Recipes are general culinary information. We do not guarantee results, nutritional accuracy, allergy compatibility, ingredient availability, or suitability for medical diets. Review labels, avoid cross-contamination, and consult professionals for medical or nutritional needs.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, 2018 Inc. will not be liable for indirect damages, data loss, recipe errors, interruptions, food decisions, user content, or third-party services. Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid Cookbook4all in the last twelve months or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.
